Cookie Policy

This site sets no cookies

Visiting and reading PhoneClarity places no cookies on your device. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no preference cookie, and no consent banner, because there is nothing to ask you to consent to.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the storage or application tab, and load any page on this site.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise the browser on a later visit. Similar technologies — local storage, tracking pixels, and embedded SDKs — do comparable things. This site uses none of them for visitors.

The one exception

WordPress sets session and authentication cookies for people who log in to edit the site. Those apply to editors only. If you have never logged in here, they are never set for you.

Third-party requests

One request does leave this site: the Inter typeface is loaded from Google Fonts. Google does not set a cookie for it, but it does receive your IP address as part of the request. That is described in the Privacy Policy.

Nothing else is loaded from a third party. No ad network, no analytics provider, no social embeds, no video players.

If that changes

Advertising is planned for this site. When it launches, advertising partners will set cookies, this page will list each provider and its purpose with a link to its own notice, and a consent mechanism will be in place before the first ad is served. This page is updated before the technology goes live, not after.

Controlling cookies anyway

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site. Since this site sets none, doing so changes nothing here, though it may affect other websites you use.
